Kayla M. Toma is a dedicated and results-driven attorney with a strong background in consumer law and litigation. Admitted to the Michigan State Bar in 2022 and licensed to practice in federal courts, Kayla has developed a comprehensive skill set representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex legal matters.

 

Kayla earned her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2019, where she co-founded the Organization of Women Law Students (OWLS), served as Treasurer for the Environmental Law Society, and held the position of Bylaws Chair for the Student Bar Association. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Michigan, graduating with distinction.

 

With strategic litigation, Kayla has successfully handled high-volume caseloads, conducted extensive legal research, drafted pleadings, negotiated settlements, and advocated for clients in court. Her deep understanding of both federal and state consumer protection laws and her drive for results has made her an invaluable asset.

 

Beyond her legal practice, Kayla is actively engaged in the legal community, serving on the Advisory Board for the State Bar of Michigan’s Young Lawyers Section as an Executive Council Member.  She is committed to continuous professional growth and dedicated to ensuring justice and fair representation for her clients.
